Snacks and drinks

We encourage the children to bring a healthy snack and a bottle of water to school each day.


Healthy snacks include;

Cereal bars and fruit (no sweets or crisps please). 


We know that some children avoid drinking plain water and sometimes bring diluted juice. Our preference would always be for plain water given the benefits to health and teeth. We also appreciate that children are less likely to rehydrate so try to take a common sense approach on this. We do not allow the children to have fizzy drinks or energy drinks.
